slowly it grows

One of the photos of an Orange Roughy showed the fins and tail all battered up like the fish was old or had had a tough battle with the fishermen. Kind of weird to combine that beat up fish with a flower. Hmmm.
Here's a little fish progress, the rays on the tail are done and the body poppy is started. It's always interesting to look at a project on screen. It gives me another perspective and a better idea of how the colors are working.

Looking good, Kelly. Being a California girl, I love poppies.

At least they look like poppies to a CA girl! Sometimes when I'm too close to my beads too long, I lose the big picture.

I should be beading now, but I was playing with my old tent to see if it wants to go camping as much as I do.
