Happy Easter

T-shirts instead of eggs! I bought a 6 pack of white t-shirts at Costco when I was in town...lots of seriously white shirts that needed color. Not so sure about the bright yellow one at the bottom, but maybe I can handle some egg yolky color.

I also did some felt for later beading, but that's not as exciting as a bunch of hippie t-shirts dyed to hide stuff that always gets on the belly of a white shirt.

Bread maker is beeping, a loaf of pre-mixed Bob's 10 grain bread awaits. Hoping it's a decent sandwich bread although I forgot to get sandwich makings today. Tomorrow.

more bead storage

I'm getting faster at the shelf building, the edges are nearly straight on the 3rd set too! I think one more set will finish the project until I go shopping again.

With this wider angle shot you can see a few of the empty plastic drawers and a few that will be empty soon. I like getting my beads out and available to inspire and intrigue me!

Hey, see that orca painting up above the right corner of the blue and purple shelf? Dad did that when he was in his early 80's, just goofing around at a little class they had at the old folks' home. It's awesome, I wish I had more of his paintings.

winter color

The sun came in and played with the tomatoes one day last week. I couldn't resist the brilliant color when it's so wintry outside.
I keep meaning to make some art or sew some beads, but my feet are firmly planted on my heating pad today. It's so luxurious to have toasty warm feet when it's hovering around 0 degrees outside!
