Winter arrived on elephant feet

View from the front door...looking at what should be the driveway. 7a.m. 1/12/01
That lump on the left is the front of my car, I had to stand on a short stool to put up the thermometer on the woodshed.
I dug out the trench between the car and the house a couple of times...it just fills up again when the wind blows across the lump that is the car.

It has snowed, it is snowing and it will snow. Then the wind will slap it around and fill in all the paths you made. If it rains, I'll never get the car out.

Update...driveway cleared (no photos yet) but when the dog and I went out she vanished in a drift! She's a medium sized dog about 18 inches at the shoulder...she stepped off the porch on to the stairs and poof. Poor old dog didn't appreciate that.

Brrrr! Man that looks cold. Gives me the shivers just looking at it.

It is a little chilly out there, I got to wear my fancy Cabella's snow pants while I dug out!

gaaaaaawd.... I don't miss it! Well, I guess that's not completely true... I miss it when I didn't have to go anywhere for a few days LOL

Dot, your 8 inches probably caused more chaos than our 3 feet! We've got a load of closures today mostly because plows can't keep up. But you can still get your tacos for Taco Tuesday at the Elks hall!

WOW that some snow!!! I can just picture the dog going in the snow. My dog hates the cold weather.

Just imagine, now you get to tunnel through the snow drifts just like I did as a wee little tyke!

The neighbors are building a snow tunnel today...it's warmed up and it's excellent construction snow now!
